A correctly matched and tuned system does not harm the engine. We assess your engine before installation and tell you honestly if the car isn’t a good fit.
Can LPG be fitted to any car?
Yes, most petrol engines. Direct-injection engines (TSI, TFSI, GDI etc.) need special systems and it doesn’t always pay off. Tell us the model and we’ll answer straight away.
How much does installation cost?
4-cylinder engines from €950, 6-cylinder from €1200, 8-cylinder from €1500, direct-injection engines from €1500 (incl. VAT). The price includes diagnostics, tuning, CSDD documents and a free check-up after 1,000 km.
How long does installation take?
Usually 1.5–2 working days. We’ll tell you the exact timeline for your car in advance, and we stick to it.
What happens when the gas runs out?
The car switches to petrol automatically. You have two fuel tanks and a longer range between fill-ups.
Can you repair a system installed elsewhere?
Yes. We service and repair LPG systems installed by other workshops too.
What about registration and the roadworthiness test?
An installed LPG system must be registered with CSDD. We’ll explain the process and prepare the car so the inspection goes smoothly.
Do I need to tell my insurer?
Yes, after CSDD registration it’s advisable to inform your insurer, especially if the car has comprehensive (KASKO) cover. It takes a few minutes.
How often does the LPG system need servicing?
Every 15,000 km or once a year: filter change, system check and tuning. Servicing from €40.
How do I recognise a badly installed or tuned system?
Uneven idle, stalling, jerking, loss of power or high gas consumption. We fix these on systems installed elsewhere too. Our own installs are tuned on the road and checked for free after 1,000 km.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, 24 months on the installed system with no mileage limit, as long as servicing is done on time.
